Summer Wedding with Daisies

For an early summer wedding celebration at Crystal Springs Resort, Jerry Rose designed a 3-day series of events to fulfill the couple’s wish of bringing together family and friends. At the request of the bride-to-be, daisies were used throughout the events as an homage to her beloved late grandfather and the extraordinary bond they shared. For the ceremony, a ribboned entry to the resort’s grounds gave way to an aisle lined with floral displays replete with daisies of all varieties. At the end of the aisle, a garden arbor was animated with flowing white ribbons and glass tubes a canopy of hanging daisies served as a festive floral cover for the young couple. Guests dined and danced the night away at the resort’s ballroom, which was transformed by Jerry into an extraordinary space, lit in the palest of amber and white lighting. Dinner tables were dressed in blue and white custom linens and accessories designed expressly by Jerry, complemented by a myriad of floral displays in daisies, mini phalaenopsis orchids, and vines of smilax and passion flower. The many custom details and design elements for the entire celebration required over a year of planning and preparation by #TeamJerryRose and contributed to an unforgettable destination weekend.
